A Blatant Misrepresentation…

It’s such blatant misrepresentation of what is actually going to happen to the communities and families who live, work, drive, educate socialize, shop, etc., here 24/7. “Monumental opportunity” is actually just selfish people—billionaires and politicians collaborating and talking about making more money while destroying quiet communities. It’s just narcissism and absolute disregard for the wonderful way of life that Alexandria is known for. And this message is not even subtle—it’s literally a middle finger to us and in our faces. It’s monumental oppression of the communities and families who live here. I didn’t choose to live near a major event and sports complex. None of us did. We have all been fortunate to enjoy the peace and tranquility of Alexandria for a very long time that is being stolen from us.—Christine T.
