Coalition Asks Conferees To Oppose Arena language in budget conference report

The Coalition to Stop the Arena at Potomac Yard, along with the National Consumers League, Sports Fans Coalition, and Taxpayer Protection Alliance, sent a letter urging the Budget Conferees to oppose the inclusion of any language in the budget conference report that would result in a publicly-funded arena being built at Potomac Yard.

The full committee includes Senator Louise Lucas and Delegate Luke Torian as the conference chairs, with Delegate Terry Austin, Delegate Rob Bloxom, Senator Jennifer Boysko, Delegate David Bulova, Delegate Betsy Carr, Senator Creigh Deeds, Senator Mamie Locke, Senator Ryan McDougle, Senator Todd Pillion, and Delegate Mark Sickles.
